Update on our New Classrooms
We found out that we will be into our new building and into our new classrooms the first week of November! Our supplies and furniture will be moved the weekend before, and when students come back on Wednesday, November 4th they will be inside their new classroom. It is beautiful and our construction crew has worked very hard to have it ready early. Yaa-hoo! The students are starting to count down the days (we are too!)

Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind
Thanks to all the parents that were able to come to the Leadership Lunch. All third grade classrooms had close to 100% attendance. We appreciate you taking the time to come and learn about the 7 habits of leadership and how we are applying those in our classrooms.
This month we will dive deeper into understanding Habit #2: Begin with the end in mind. This means to have a plan. Students will be setting new goals for their learning and practicing ways they can plan ahead. In our counseling class we have learned how to handle our emotions. We planned ahead by practicing ways to calm ourselves if we are excited, worried, angry, or sad. Kids THRIVE on a consistent schedule and it helps to know ahead of time what to expect so they have strategies to cope with the way they are feeling.Below is a link that explains each of the leadership habits and ways parents can practice each habit at home.
